Diced Golden Figs w/ dextrose

This product is made from clean, wholesome dried figs grown in California. The figs come from the fig tree (Ficus carica), are naturally sun-dried in the orchard and mechanically harvested. The fruit is sorted and thoroughly cleaned to ensure sound product. The figs are then diced with 3/8 inch cubed cuts and coated with dextrose as an anti-caking agent. The size and shape of pieces are random due to the irregular shape of the fig. We offer a series of different coatings and can customize one, also. This item is perfect for a baking inclusion!

Packaging Specifications Product is packed in 30 lb. net weight fiber cases which are lined with a food-grade 1.5 milpolyethylene bag. All cases contain product name and Nutrafig brand, processor’s name andaddress, net weight, DFA Certification Stamp, kosher symbol and lot number. The shippingweight is 31.5 lb/case. There are 10 cases per tier, and 6 tiers per pallet.
Shelf Life One year from date of production is generally accepted as the shelf life; however, a natural agingprocess known as sugaring may take place wherein natural sugars may crystallize on the skin ofthe fruit. This process generally is noticeable within three months of processing.
Storage & Shipping Product should be kept in a cool dry environment free from infestation within a temperature rangeof 35 degrees F to 60 degrees F at 55% RH or less.
