A sunflower kernel is the ‘meat’ of the sunflower seed. It has a firm, yet tender texture, and a mild, nutty taste. Organic sunflower kernels are an excellent source of vitamin E. They are also a very good source of vitamin B1, manganese, magnesium, copper, selenium, phosphorus, vitamin B5, and folate.
